Adding a new product to the marketplace

Marketplace product upload

• Sign into shop account: Customer log in | Art UK Shop

• Navigate to Products from the menu

• Select Add Products 

• Attribute Set: select as appropriate depending on the product

• Product Type: this should always be Simple

• Select Continue

• Product Category: Choose the category or categories the product should appear under on the shop

• Add a Product Name and Description. Short Description is not required

• Add SKU, Price, Stock and select Stock Availability from the options

• Visibility: select Catalog, Search for the product to appear when a customer searches for the item and appear within the whole product catalogue.

• Tax Class: select appropriate tax category

• Add Weight (if not known, add 0.01. A nominal weight must be added to all products)

• URL key, Meta Title & Meta Description are not required and will auto-generate

• Product images - images must be square and minimum size 1024 x 1024 pixels. Images must be compressed before uploading and can be compressed and then downloaded using: TinyJPG – Compress WebP, PNG and JPEG images intelligently 

• Add measurements (if known)

• Select products that you would like to be shown as “related products” which will appear alongside the product or in the basket for customers who may also be interested in these products (optional)

• Select Save

The Art UK Shop manager will be notified of the product to review details before approval and being made live on the shop, or will get in touch should any further information be required.
